Trying to find a good, cruelty free moisturiser was proving to be difficult until I stumbled upon the 'Yes To' brand in Boots.
I have a total addiction to tomatoes. I eat them like apples, usually one or two a day but I was a little unsure whether I wanted them in my moisturiser. It's an american brand and looking on the website, they had such great reviews I just had to try it for myself.
I am so so glad I did. I love the fact that made from 97% natural ingredients and paraben, SCS and petroleum free. (Also cruelty free!) It's important to me to know that I'm using as natural a product as I can on my face and that makes me happy.
I have combination skin and often find it difficult to moisturise my skin without breaking out into spots. This moisturiser doesn't do that! (No matter how much I put on. Yay!)
It has sebum absorbers which helps reduce the excess acne-making oils on your face and contains antioxidants from the tomato to help keep your skin clear but balanced.
The scent is very delicate, when I apply it to my skin it smells fresh with a hint of sweetness. The colour of the product is white. (I half expected it to be red/pink).
This is a really great moisturiser and I will be repurchasing! At £11.99, it's not the cheapest on the market but in my opinion its really worth it.
There are other fruit & veggie options available too:
Yes To Tomatoes: combination & acne prone skin
Yes To Carrots: normal to dry skin
Yes To Cucumbers: sensitive skin
Yes To Grapefruit: for uneven skin tone
Yes To Blueberries: for fine lines and wrinkles

Have heard so much good stuff about this brand and the fact that they are cruelty free is amazing.. you're right, cruelty free skin care is hard to track down, especially when you want something accessible and not ridiculously expensive. I will definitely be giving the Yes To Carrots range a go next time I head to Boots! x
ReplyDeleteI really want to try this - lovely review!xxx
